MID-SOUTH GIFTED ACADEMY, COLLIERVILLE, TENNESSEE

Mid-South Gifted Academy (MSGA) is a 10,000 SF educational facility for grades 8-12. In addition to classroom space, the design provided the ability to pivot learning spaces to accommodate music, science labs, and robotics instruction. Office space for staff and leadership is also housed in this facility. Located in the Town of Collierville’s historic district, south of the Town Square, the new MSGA building provides an anchor to the Square’s southern gateway and is the largest new construction investment impacting the Square since our completion of the Police & Courts Facility in 2008. The building’s exterior, brick veneer over wooden framing, includes detailing that reflects the architecture of the original Collierville High School and Collierville’s Fire Station No. 1.

This facility is used as an Upper School in conjunction with the South Street Facility located across the street which Spirit designed the readaptation from office to educational use for the school in 2019.
