LOGAN COUNTY JAIL, GUTHRIE, OKLAHOMA

The new Logan County Jail is adjacent to the existing Logan County Courthouse, located in the county seat of Guthrie, OK. The facility is approximately 30,200 square feet and includes Sheriff’s office, dispatch, vehicle sally port, intake, and other jail support functions such as kitchen and laundry. The housing portion is designed for 166 inmates, male and female, arranged in dormitory and dayroom spaces. A central control room provides visual and electronic monitoring of the inmate areas. 

The facility was completed in November 2007. In 2013 the county hired SouthBuild to turn their interior exercise yard into a 1,100 SF dormitory. An additional 20 beds were added to the facility for $334,000.
